Safari Highlights: Great Migration in Serengeti National Park and game drives in Ngorongoro Crater.
The great Migration of the Serengeti is considered one of ‘The Ten Wonders of The Natural World’, and one of the best events in Tanzania to witness. A truly awe-inspiring spectacle of life in an expansive ecosystem ruled by rainfall and the urge for survival amongst the herbivores of the Serengeti plains.
The Annual Migration overview: the best times to visit The Serengeti Migration
July – October: This is when the wildebeest are in the northern Serengeti plains, and you have a chance of seeing up to thousands crossing the great Mara River. As the sight of the wildebeest crossing the so dramatic, it is considered by many the most desirable time to see the migration.
December – March: Currently the wildebeest are in the southern area of the Serengeti, more specifically in Ndutu which is actually in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and it is calving season. February is the only time of year when you are almost guaranteed to see the big herds all together as they always come south for calving season.
The rest of the year: In November, April, May and June the migration is “in between” locations and as such these months are slightly transitional times to see the herds.
Day One: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your Hotel
You will arrive at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and greeted by a our driver. He will take you your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. Dinner and an overnight stay at TWO MOUNTAINS LODGE.
Day Two: Arusha – Ngorongoro
After breakfast you will be driven to Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive during which you will be provided with a picnic lunch. In the evening you will have dinner and an overnight stay at NGORONGORO TORTILIS CAMP.
Day Three: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast you will be driven to Serengeti National Park for a game drive during which you will be provided with a picnic lunch. In the evening you will have dinner and an overnight stay at TUKAONE SERENGETI CAMP.
Day Four: Serengeti National Park
You will enjoy a full day game drive in the Central Serengeti with a high chance of seeing the great migration. In the afternoon you will have a hot lunch at the camp / lodge. After your hot lunch you will enjoy an evening game drive followed by dinner and overnight at the camp / lodge. You will have dinner and an overnight stay at TUKAONE SERENGETI CAMP.
Day Five: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will enjoy another full day game drive in the Central Serengeti with a high chance of seeing the big cats. In the afternoon you will have a hot lunch at the camp / lodge. After your hot lunch you will enjoy an evening game drive followed by dinner and overnight stay at TUKAONE SERENGETI CAMP.
Day Six: Serengeti National Park – Arusha
After an early breakfast you will be driven back to Arusha for dinner and overnight stay. Dinner and overnight stay at TWO MOUNTAINS LODGE.

Important:
Travelers are currently required to come with their Covid-19 full vaccination certificate. Only unvaccinated travelers should come with a negative test certificate done at least 72 hours to arrival and departure depending on the destination requirement.
